Mobile grid architecture and overlay construction
Mobile grid,integrating mobile devices into grid system,is cross-area of grid computing and mobile computing.The concept of mobile grid and research background are introduced in this paper.It is proposed that the objects of mobile grid should include large-scale computing devices,mobile devices,together with general wired devices such as PC.So mobile grid is characterized with large scale,heterogeneity,dynamic and mobility.Five-layer hourglass architecture and Open Grid Service Architecture of traditional grid are no longer suitable for mobile grid.Overlay network technology is introduced into the architecture design of mobile grid and four-layer structure is proposed At last,super node-based overlay network construction idea is discussed which is propitious to distributed resource manage.
