Improved content-aware image resizing algorithm

摘要：

In this paper,we present an improved content-aware image resizing algorithm based on seam carving.We propose a penalty machine to penalize image regions where too many seams have been carved to preserve the visual effect of the whole image and prevent the monotonous image regions to be overprocessed.Comparison between our method and classic seam carving method shows that the subjective impression of images resized by our method is better preserved.We also introduce a greedy algorithm to determine the local optimal solution of seam carving order that accelerates the process effectively.
