Multiple Traveling wave Solutions to Variable-coefficient Shallow Long Wave Approximate Equations
An extended tanh-function method is used uniformly for constructing multiple traveling wave solutions to nonlinear evolution equations.The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the Riccati equation which has some good solutions.For illustration,multiple traveling wave solutions to variable-coefficient shallow long wave approximate equations are obtained.The method is straightforward,concise,and it also applied to other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
