Numerical Simulation of H1-Galerkin Mixed Method for RLW-Burgers Equation

A numerical scheme for H1-Galcrkin mixed finite element method is proposed for 1-D regularized long wave-Burgers (RLW-Burgers) equation.Optimal error estimates of scmidiscrete and fully discrete schemes are derived for problems.The mixed method can simultaneously approximate the scalar unknown and the vector flux effectively,without requiring the LBB consistency condition.Finally,a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
