Research and Analysis Optical Detection Performance on Pulp Vitality Test System
To objectively diagnose the health state of tooth,the technology of laser induced fluorescence was proposed to detect dental pulp vitality.In this paper,the optical detection system was studied by using different short wavelength laser excitation;and analyzed design principle and detection method.According to optical detection principle,the arrangement of input fiber and output fiber in optical probe were designed,numerical aperture of fiber probe were calculated and analyzed,and the distance between surface of tooth and fiber was designed and calculated.Base on photometry,the optical properties between the incidence light source and the reflected light are analyzed and researched.Through experimentation,we gain relatively fluorescence intensity coming from the different tooth under 470nm wavelength incident laser;the result shows the technology of laser induced fluorescence is feasible in detection dental pulp vitality.
