Design and Implementation of City lights Remote Monitoring System
This paper proposes the design and implementation of a remote monitoring system over urban street lamp The system is based on the sufficient investigation of GPRS-Internet and computer measurement and control technology.This system consists of a computer monitoring center,the GPRS-Internet network,remote monitoring terminals and other infrastructures.The system implements the data collection of street lamp lines,the tele-data transmission,remote monitoring,data analysis and processing and some other functions.The transmission of tele-data adopts the communication method based on TCP/IP protocol,which makes the data transmission fast,stable,credible and secure.The system aims to improve the street lamp system in the aspects of automation and energy saving.It brings intelligence and efficiency to modern cities.It also gains high economic and social benefits for the people.
