Design and Research of An Adaptive Distributed Storage System
In order to make full use of personal computers in computational resources,storage resources and network resources,we proposed an adaptive distributed storage system in which nodes are classified into 5 kinds.Considering of node failures,a proactive mechanism is introduced to smooth network bandwidth by way of executing data restoring-dispersal algorithm when the number of available nodes bellows a certain threshold.The advantage of our scheme lie in that nodes accession to the system is relatively free and their number is totally transparent.The analysis shows that the model can improve data availability as well as enhance system survivabiliry.
