Study on Web Publishing System Based on JDF
A publishing workflow was talked about on this paper.A publishing system was built with the user rights and digital asset management based on a theoretical model of Job Definition Format (JDF) created by CIP4 organization.A publishing workflow controlled remotely by a website was regarded as a node tree connecting work nodes.By controlling input and output resources of nodes through a website, all publishing participants joined in distributing and sharing assets and succeed to accomplish a publication.It means that the web publishing system based on JDF as a dynamic management system is a feasible way to control the digital publishing processes.
