IP Multicasting Video Conferencing Model Based on JAIN and JMF
In this paper, we present a model about the creation of video conferencing services for the NGN(Next Generation Network).SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) implement by JAIN (Java API for Integrated Networks) in this model to responsible for conference registering, controlling and termination.Under the session control level, we transmit realtime multimedia data streaming which provide by RTP (Real Time Protocol) implemented by JMF (Java Media Framework).In some traditional video conference model, the conference server bears all these data streaming transferring include conference control and real-time multimedia data streaming.This may lead to the server overload when the number of participant increased and also some problems will occur in the conference such as increasing network delay.However our model divided conference control and multimedia streaming into two parts which use different structure to in charge of each part.In this way, we can make the conference more efficiency than it is in the traditional model.
