IDEF and UML-based Enterprise Modeling
The purpose of enterprise modeling is to describe the architecture of enterprise, so as to built a series of model that express the status of the enterprise.Enterprise Modeling, as the decision support tools methods of collection of enterprise information, is the key of information system development.Currently, there are two kind of modeling method.One is structure-based modeling methodology-;the other is object-oriented modeling methodology.Although similar characteristic lies in them, there are some differences between them.In this paper, we product a new modeling method that integrated IDEF and UML.After establishing a series of model with one instance, the modeling steps are analyzed.The method can help the modeling engineers in various fields build and test the specialized models of their own based on an integrated IDEF models.
