Efficient solution of the steady Navier-Stokes equations based on two-level discretization techniques
In this paper, we study the linear systems arise from steady Navier-Stokes (N-S) equations with different nonlinear term (divergence form and skew-symmetric form). Based on the Hermitian/skew-Hermitian splitting(HSS) techniques, we present a two- level algorithm for solving discrete Ossen equations arise from modified Picard linearization. This algorithm involves solving a nonlinear system on the coarse mesh and solving symmetric positive definite systems and shifted skew-symmetric systems on the fine mesh. It shows that our algorithm is efficient for the Oseen systems.
