Application of Space Debris Situation Awareness Visualization System
Visualization system plays an important role in understanding and analysis of current and historical space environment A space situation awareness visualization system based on TLE data has been established. The four main modules of it are: space object data management module, scientific calculation module, 3D visualization module, space object attribute display module and user interface module. This paper gives an introduction of space activity of human and the current space debris situation first. Then, the visualization system and its application are described in detail. The system has laid a good foundation for the space debris further research in surveillance and collision avoidance in the future. Future update and function expansion are also discussed for better demonstration and scientific use.
