Realization of PCI Bus Object Interface Status Machine Based on Verilog HDL

With the development of computer technology, PCI bus is widely used because of its strong points such as high-powered, burst data transfer, plug and play etc. In this paper the core controlling part of PCI object state machine based on one-hot coding mode and Verilog HDL are introduced. Then the detailed state transferring map and the simulation results figure are given. Combining with other modules the method proposed in this paper can collocate with CPLD to implement PCI object interface, and the data transmission and controlling function of PCI object interface can be achieved perfectly.
