Monte Carlo Simulation Combined with Optimization Algorithm for Optimal Design of Stochastic Ballistics
A stochastic optimization method that combined Monte Carlo simulation with deterministic optimization algorithm is proposed to solve stochastic optimal design of exterior ballistics. The optimal solution is searched by deterministic optimization algorithm according to the average of random variables, and Monte Carlo simulation is executed at each search point to identify the feasibility of the design points and their corresponding target value, which repeats until optimization process is convergent. The method is applied to a typical example that can verify the feasibility of it, and characteristics of it are analyzed.
