Edge-detection Algorithm Based on Mathematical Morphology

How to extract edge in a noise image effectively is very difficulty. Based on the study of mathematical morphology, this paper proposed an image edge detection algorithm which is combined of multi-scale and multi-structural elements.Considering the effect of different scale and structural elements on edge detection, this algorithm designed the adaptive weighted formula and structure delements selecting fumula, and protect the image edge character effectly.ln order to verify the efficiency of the algorithm, we design an experiment which is used to process the noise image.And experimental results show that this algorithm is more efficient than classical edge detection algorithm.
