The Study of Multi-agent System Cooperation Based on Swarm Intelligence Theory

Ant colonies are generally social insect societies, which present a highly structured social organization. In spite of the simplicity of their individuals, ant colonies can accomplish complex tasks spontaneously and coordinated, which attract many computer scientists to study it. In this paper we propose an extended ant task allocation model in the application of multi-robots pursuing, in which we define a mathematical model by means of distance between robot and prey task by attractive fields. Our experiment results show that it is consistent between the experiments and the actual situation expectations, and the whole experiments in our work can fulfill the demand of coordination in multirobots pursuing. The extended task allocation model can farther be applied into other multi-agents application, and it has a broader foreground.
