Design of Low-power Wireless Environmental Monitoring System for Warehouse
Aiming at the disadvantages of detection and safe guard system in warehouse environment, such as the high cost, trival, cabling and difficult maintenance, a new method based on wireless environmental monitoring network technique is presented to solve the problems. By using the communication which is based on electromagnetic induction, the design implements the short distance communication between the node and the terminal or nodes, which reduces system power consumption; the main processor of monitoring terminal is PIC16F877 receiving and displaying the environment of detection node; the main processor PIC16F873 is a low-power MCU. The detection node using PIC16F873 can detect ambient temperature, brightness and other parameters automatically, the detection node has function of presetting encoding and between the nodes news can be transmitted, and we can design a node monitoring network which contains less than 255 nodes. Then news can be transmitted to computer by the terminal Monitoring terminal, probing joints and communication module production have been completed and conducted a validation test.
