OPTIMIZATION OF SPARSE VECTOR ARRAYS BY SIMULATED ANNEALING ALGORITHM
In many practical engineering applications in sonar, hydrophone array requires a narrow scanning beam, without requiring a corresponding gain, so it can be sparse array. In this paper we apply simulated annealing algorithm to the deisgn of sparsely vector array by optimizing the layout of the element. the simulation demonstrate the sparsely vector array by simulated annealing algorithm reduced the minimum peak sidelobe level.
