Study on the Programmable Configuration tool in Bay Level of Digital Substation
As the substation integrated automation advances, Digital Substation technology becomes the key for Power System evolution. In substation automation system, its IED (Intelligent Electronic Device) require interoperability and programmability, but it is very hard to execute these functions for domestic devices. Focused on these defects, together with poor flexibility, this paper proposed a development method is for programmable configuration tool, based on graphical programming, in the Bay Level. And it designed an implementation for the configuration tool which analyzed IED functional model and enumerated the function modeling of over-current protection. A solution is given to improve the standardization and flexibility for product development and to advance product interchangeability.
