Analysis and Design of the S-SCSF Functional Entities in IMS
IMS is independent architecture of access technology to provide IP multimedia services. In the IMS architecture, CSCF plays a key role as a session control and management functional entity. In this paper, through the analysis and design of specific SCSF functional entities, has studied specific principles and processes of the IMS session control framework, discussed SIP message processing and forwarding process, and made extensions to the SIP protocol for the actual demand. The essential target is under the TAPA architecture, to achieve the call session control function entity in the IMS architecture, other features is in support of the TAPA architecture and SIP softphone, completes the IMS basic functions of call setup and release in triggering.
