The Research and Application and Development Prospect of XBRL in Securities Industry
XBRL, the new generation of network financial reporting language, which is the latest standard and to prepare, exchange data and publish the analytical information of financial statements, is an open and Platform-independent computer language, which has international standard data to describe information related to financial and electronic communication. In recent years, XBRL has been widely used in the security industry to disclosure online information of listed companies. The application of XBRL technique has made the online- disclosed information of listed companies more standardized, normalized, transparent, and has also increased efficiency and capabilities significantly. This article aims at analyzing the study and application of XBRL in securities industry- both at home and abroad, and took a glance into the future promotion of XBRL in China.
