The Development of General Three-level Large Power Frequency Converter
Owe to three-level inverter mature topological structure and low harmonic content of output voltage, it has been applied widely in large power and high voltage applications. This paper expatiated the design method of main circuit, the constitution of control circuit and the control programs design of general three-level high voltage transducer. A control method of neutral point voltage balance based on relay comparison was proposed, and the operation result at locale industry was given out in this paper. The harmonic characteristic of the three-level inverters output voltage was educed and the general rules of the harmonic distribution were summarized. The result indicated that the transducer achieved a good waveform, and the requirement of performance was satisfied.
