The Housing Price Distribution of China Cities Based on the Method of IDW
The spatial interpolation method, IDW, is studied in use of drawing the surface and contour map of the inland housing price distribution of China. The method of IDW is applied using Matlab R2010b, based on the housing price sampling data of the main cities of inland of China, which are above prefecture-level cities. The results are then used to draw the surface and contour map of the inland housing price distribution of China, by the software function of drawing. The consequence proves that the effect of IDW is good, and the results are very close to the practical housing price distribution. Furthermore, the IDW is a deterministic method and easy to use in practice. It makes the final the surface and contour maps of the inland housing price distribution of China are credible and feasible.
