Research and Design of an Infrared Receiving Circuit Using 8051 IP Core
The paper concerns a high quality infrared receiving circuit using 8051 Intellectual Property core, which can be easily transplanted into Field Programmable Gate Array and Application Specific Integrated Circuit to improve the performance of this circuit. Infrared receiving technology is widely used in many academic and project fields, such as remote control and wireless communication, due to the excellent performance. In order to implement a high quality infrared receiving circuit, this paper researched and used the design technology of infrared receiving circuit and the 8051 Intellectual Property core. The infrared receiving circuit provides the correct hex file, which save into the Read Only Memory of the 8051 Intellectual Property core. And this paper is also accomplishing the verification of the 8051 Intellectual Property core. Based on these researching results, the infrared receiving circuit can be fluently transplanted into Field Programmable Gate Array and Application Specific Integrated Circuit And some of the implementation issues related to infrared receiving circuit design and the 8051 Intellectual Property core, such as hardware system and software processing methods, have also been discussed in detail.
