Joint Development of Manufacturing and Logistics Industry : Theoretical and Empirical Research
This paper conducts a theoretical model and empirical research to analyze the interactive development of the modern manufacturing and logistics industry. The study proves that the vertical specialization of logistics can effectively promote the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry, in addition, labor wages and the elasticity of logistics services are important influencing factors. It also shows that the interactive development of the modern manufacturing and logistics depends on the coordination of the development.
