Study on Three-dimensional Reconstruction of Macro/Meso-structure Evolution of Expansive Soils with CT-triaxial Apparatus
A program is used to reconstruct the Computerized Tomography (CT) images of expansive soils in the manuscript The physical and mechanical properties of expansive soils can be researched accurately and visually. In the experiment, the CT-triaxial apparatus is used to research the shearing strength of expansive soils with artificial holes in different conditions of suctions and net pressures. The threedimensional reconstruction is successful and considerable. The principle of program is easy and convenient, and it can be learned fast and directly by those who are not major in computer. This technique will have a better prospect in gcotechnical engineering.
