The Semantic Disambiguation Based on Joint Model
The process of machine translation, semantic ambiguity are the difficult problems of machine translation. British scholar Peter Newmark inherited functional equivalence theory of translation and presented the text typology theory- on the basis of the function of language. It offers a specific and operational instrument for translation process. With maximum entropy model and the text typology theory, the paper is to use corpora and classification of dictionaries, to establish a joint model for semantic disambiguation.
