A High Performance Fuzzy Controller for Laser Tracking System
in order to set up a controller of good dynamic response for the laser tracking system,special requirements of laser tracking system to its controller are analyzed in this article.0ne is exact position track and the other is rapid and steady speed response.The overall design strategy of the control system is put forward on the condition that the startup torque and Coulomb torque difierence a lot and the system works at relative low speed(typically-l0rpm to 10rpm).It is pointed out that the PWM method is effective to reduce system startup torque and increase steadiness of startup.In position loop a fuzzy PI controller is designed to decrease the position overshoot tO 1.5mm and increase the smoothness of the tracking.The expeHmental results show that the tracking control system can accurately and rapidly follow movement of the target.
