ITMAS-Intelligent Traffic Monitoring and Analysis System for Emergency Rescue Services

The main idea of this paper is to accelerate the response time of Emergency Rescue Systems like ambulance, fire-engine, etc. The Proposed System which is designed to meet this challenge combines the work of GPS, Image Processing System and a KnowledgeDriven Decision Making System. The GPS system used is based not only on the shortest path algorithms, but also on the least time factor and does the job of labeling the possible routes for easy processing and classification, which are dynamically stored in Position Marker. The Image processing system, which uses less memory space, saves the dynamically transferred images of current and its two consecutive previous frames of the traffic under inspection. The images are represented as mathematical functions and stored as the matrix for calculation of density factor using a special algorithm that measures density depending upon the relative motion of traffic for all specific routes respectively. The Decision making system uses Decision Marker, a dynamically updated table which offers a jump in reference for our own novel algorithm-Easy Travel Algorithm and thereby determining the route that the emergency service can take for its least travel time.
