Identification of Load on a Point-of-Load (PoL) Voltage Converter: An Automated Algorithm and Its Implementation

摘要：

In this paper, a method has been presented for determining the type and value of load attached across a BMR-450 Point-of-Load (PoL). To do this, a measurement circuit is designed to measure the inductor current inside the BMR-450. The measured data is then taken to the LabView software by means of a data acquisition system. A user friendly interface is designed in the software, and an algorithm for load identification has been implemented and presented.
