Performance Analysis of FS-CMA for Adaptive Blind Equalization of Non Linear SIMO FIR Channels
In this paper, nonlinear SIMO FIR channels are represented as linear SIMO FIR channels treating the nonlinear terms as noise. The fractionally spaced constant modulus algorithm (FS-CMA) is adopted for adaptive blind equalization of the channels. The nonlinear terms are correlated with the linear terms are studied how large is the correlation and how does it effect the performance of the conventional FS-CMA. The proposed approach is corroborated with a simulation example on equalization of nonlinear SIMO FIR channels.
