RBF Neural Network-based Ship Nonlinear Roll Motion Modelling and Prediction
This paper aims to model and predict the ship nonlinear roll motion based on RBF neural network. The ship nonlinear motion is firstly analyzed in the irregular waves. Then through MATLAB software.the relevant data is calculated for RBF neural network as training data and test data, thus establishing the ship nonlinear roll motion model and predicting the ship roll motion. Finally, the simulation results show the modelling and prediction accuracy can meet the precision requirements.
