The Influence of Global Warming to Fluvial Abnormal Environmental Variation
The concept of abnormal environmental variation is proposed by analyzing the processes of environmental change and the global warming situation in the Lower Yellow River. Moreover, the reparation methods for fluvial abnormal environment variation are stated as well. Styles of river environmental variation can be classified according to characteristics of the river and of human activities. The consequences of different kinds of river environmental variation resulted from excessive intervention in runoff processes, occupation and over-exploitation of bottomlands, vegetation damage in drainage basins, debris flow, landslides and algal blooms, etc., are analyzed. Meanwhile, the reparation methods are put forward. With a practical water-sand adjusting project in the Lower Yellow River, the rationality and practicability of such measures are validated.
