Parallel Factor Analysis-Based DOA Estimation in the Stationary Noise
In this paper, we employ the PARAFAC analysis to estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) of sources in the background of stationary noise. The new method builds a PARAFAC model by computing the second order cyclic statistics of different sub-array, and solves it using TALS, finally, direction of arrival is estimated without spectrum-searching. Compared with other algorithms, the proposed method can estimate the direction of arrival with a higher accuracy, and suppress the stationary noise by computation of the cyclic correlated matrixes of received data.
