A Digital Rights Management System Model Based on P2P Network

摘要：

In order to protect digital rights well, we propose a feasible hybrid mode of digital rights management system on the basis of analyzing digital rights management (DRM) technology under the traditional P2P network mode. We study and discuss the system structure, license management, user authentication in the paper. In this system, content packaging and distribution is realized on the peer side, permissions settings and license issuance management are implemented on the license server, user registration and payment, identity authentication are managed on user management server. DRM and P2P network are integrated effectively in this way. Advantages of P2P technology are preserved and security of DRM system is guaranteed together. System analysis indicates that the DRM system in P2P network environment can realize digital content protection and copyright management functions well.
