Contrast Source Inversion Algorithm for Reconstructing Complicated Targets from Experimental Elastic Wave and Microwave Data-for vector cases
In this paper the nonlinear contrast source inversion (CS1) algorithm, based on domain integral equations, is applied to reconstruct two complicated targets, one target is immersed in water from the experimental elastic wave data and the other is in an anechoic chamber from experimental microwave data. Extended approaches, such as frequency approach and regularization approach, are applied to the CSI algorithm. Inversion results from these two datasets using the multi-frequency multi-bistatic measurement, obtained in the pressure and vertically polarized shear (P-SV) wave case and the transverse electric (TE) case, verify the CSI algorithm with extended approaches is a promising method for elastic wave and microwave imaging.
