LUCC and Urban Expansion of Longkou City Based on RS and GIS
Recently resources have been consumed sharply with the development of the city. As one of the essential nature resources, land has been directly infected. In order to discuss land change process, to provide urban development advice to the relevant government for sustainable development, this paper takes Longkou as an example, selects aerial photographs in April 2004, April 2009 as major data, combines classified supervision with visual interpretation, gets various land use type boundaries. Finally results showed that: During the last five years, the area of the grassland, transport land had increased by 75.48%, 73.00% respectively, whereas the area of the arable land, others and orchard land had decreased by 5.39%, 3.91 %, and 3.44% respectively. It provides reference . for urban orderly development.
