Research on Triggering Method of L2-Trigger
Technique of L2-trigger allows greater support for real-time services on a Mobile IPv4 network. This technique has attracted special attention due to its distinctive capability, that is, minimizing the delay matching time without sending or receiving IP packets in the Mobile IP Registration process. In this paper, a novel triggering method based on forecast of channel quality, is developed. Incorporating the strength of the L2-trigger technique, the proposed method has remarkable advantage of being able to triggering L2-triggers within a much shorter observation time. Simulation results are given in support of this claim.
