Internet Age Numerical Control Protocol Network Design and Experiment

The major objective of numerical control (NC) program interpreting is to decode input NC program into motion commands and programmable logical controller (PLC) commands. The commands are sent to motion control processor and PLC respectively in order to control the movement of the cutting tool and auxiliary machine device. The analysis and realization of NC program decoding functions are achieved with interpreting mode in the paper because of limited hardware resource. Lexical analyzer is constructed by finite state automaton. Syntax and semantic analysis make the logic relation within each block of NC programs correct. An implementation method is proposed under interpretive mode. A reliable implementation control strategy of macroprogram is proposed under interpretive mode. The synchronous problem between decoding task and total task is successfully solved. The interpreting module is implemented by C language program. Good feasibility of the decoding module is proved in experiment.
