Proactive IP Layer Link Failure Resilient Approach using Backup Link

摘要：

A local proactive failure resilient approach was proposed for handling transient single link failure, this approach implemented rerouting strategy through the method of analyzing the difference of shortest path tree(SPT) between the scenes link failed or not and the way of calculating backup link to build backup SPT. This is the first time to establish backup tables using the different network topologies. And the length of loop-free backup paths is also closing to the shortest path by recalculating. Both the theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that proposed algorithm has a better performance.
