Periodic Data Transmission for Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks
This study proposes a dynamic guaranteed time slot (GTS) allocation scheme in order to realize a transmission scheme Tor periodic data in an industrial environment. Further, a personal area network (PAN) coordinator can share the same GTS slot with several nodes using transmission deadline, network utilization, and transmitting rate. The proposed scheme can realize an increase in the overall utilization of the GTS bandwidth. Simulation results demonstrated the improved performance of the proposed scheme.
