A Comparative Study on China with Occident Management Case Teaching Performance
Currently, occidental business schools have developed a systemic case-based teaching mode. Chinese educational circles introduced this method to China and acquired good results to some degree. We can copy case teaching format, yet it is tough to demonstrate the essence. There are still many problems: some cases do not match with Chinese context, the teachers cant guide the students very well, the education tradition constrains the students participation, etc In order to find a satisfactory way to facilitate management case teaching, this study, based on our recent interviews to university students and previous literature, will manifest the characters and process of Occident case leaching, analyze the deficiencies of Chinese actuality about case leaching, try to build a model about case teaching performance, which contains case material quality, teacher guidance, student involvement, and culture background, etc, and provide relevant improvement suggestions.
