Optimization of Polysaccharides Extraction from Fructus Tribuli by Response Surface Methodology
Response surface methodology (RS.YI) was used to study the effect of liquid: solid ratio, cellulase concentration and reaction time on the extraction of polysaccharide from Fructus tribuli. Regression analysis was performed on the data obtained. The most relevant variable was solid: liquid ratio. The coefficient determination (R2) was good for the second-order model. The optimal condition of polysaccharides extraction from Fructus tribuli was found, these were a liquid: solid ratio of 24.36:1 (v/w), a ccllulase concentration of 1.78% and a reaction time of 2.84h. By means of additional experiments, the adequacy of this model was confirmed.
