Improving PCCP To Support Reliablity
There is a growing need to support reliable data communications in Sensor Networks that are capable of supporting new applications. One of opportunities for performance optimization is designing of protocols that investigate both congestion control and reliability. PCCP is a transport layer protocol that provides a priority-based congestion control. PCCP innovatively measures congestion degree as the ratio of packet inter-arrival time along over packet service time. We improve performance of PCCP by adding a mechanism to support reliability. It reduces loss probability, loss energy and consequently improves throughput and life time of network.
