A Complementary Approach for an Ontology-based Question Answering System

The Semantic web is a suitable framework for sharing and reusing data among web applications. It also provides an interconnected network of information based on the semantic data models and ontologies to be processed by machines. Reuse of knowledge bases, instead of its creation, is an important area in knowledge technologies. Finding a relevant knowledge base is a key point in knowledge reuse on semantic web. Achieving the reference ontology relevant to the users needs is the main goal in Identify Knowledge Base systems. In this article, a complementary approach is introduced to find the suitable ontology and utilize the knowledge base using visualization facilities. Such visualization facilities assure users of their selected ontology. Then the selected ontology applies to a question answering System and changes its domain to a multi-domain question answering system. High interactivity of the system reduces the concept ambiguity.
