The Research and Design of a Strong Multifactor Identity Authentication Mechanism

摘要：

Identity authentication plays an important role in the enterprise application systems; it is the prerequisite for the implementation of other security mechanisms, such as access control and log audit. However, the application systems which established at different time adopt various authentication technologies following different security strategies and standards. As a result, users have to repeatedly identify their identities using varying technologies when they visit other system resources. It inevitably increases the difficulty of management and the risk of systems security. This paper analyzes the major authentication technologies and identification models at present, and presents a strong multifactor identity authentication mechanism including its identification strategy, then discusses the global design, architecture and implementation of the authentication mechanism in the identification platform.
