Analysis of Celestial Bodies Visibility in Photographing to GEO Satellite Based on STK
Aim at the examination to geostationary orbit (GEO) satellite, a method of using orbit maneuver vehicle (OMV) take photo to GEO satellite by CCD camera is presented. In respect that CCD camera is a kind of optic sensor, so bright celestial bodies appear in camera coverage will interfere with photograph inevitably, such as sun, moon and earth, etc. To solve involved problems, a highly eccentric orbit with critically inclination is designed for OMV according to characteristic of geostationary orbit firstly. Then in terms of position relationship of OMV, GEO satellite and disturbed celestial bodies, detailed discussion on sun/moon disturbance is performed and conditions of disturbance is analyzed simultaneously. Finally a method of eluding sun/moon disturbance is proposed. STK simulation results demonstrated the validity and feasible of the method.
