Study and Implementation of an Online Visual Design Tool for Web Pages

Design and development of web pages were traditionally conducted by professional staff, which usually cant satisfy various users individual requirement Therefore, the study of a highly efficient, personalized, and visual design tool for web pages is of great importance and value. After giving a comparison of several common web design tools and techniques, the paper chooses EXTJS technique to develop a novel design tool for web pages. The tool is based on Internet browser and B/S architecture. Through utilizing the advantages of EXTJS technique and data cache mechanism, the tool achieves modulization and visual design of web pages. As a result, the tool provides a new way for web site development at present.
