ADVANCES ON STOCHASTIC DAMAGE MECHANICS OF CONCRETE
The constitutive modeling of concrete plays an essential role for the nonlinear analysis of concrete structures. Considering the randomness and nonlinear performance of concrete material, the stochastic damage mechanics of concrete has been systematically investigated by the authors group. The achievements and recent developments are shown in the present paper. It is found that the mechanical behaviors of concrete rely on the coupling of randomness and nonlinearity. And the fluctuation of randomness in different scales should be carefully considered to handle the failure of concrete structures.
