AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THERMAL EXPANSION COEFFICIENT OF CONCRETE

Considering the strength,age and other factors on the thermal expansion coefficient as well as the replacement percentage of recycled coarse aggregate on the thermal expansion coefficient,this paper conducted a series of tests on the cylinder specimens in the laboratory. Experimental results show that the thermal expansion coefficient of high-strength concrete is higher than that of ordinary concrete. The thermal expansion coefficient of ordinary concrete grows with their age; the thermal expansion coefficient of recycled aggregate concrete increases with recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentage.
